Operating in North Dakota

North Dakota ranks second in the nation in oil production. This production stimulates economic activity and provides jobs across the state and throughout the country.

In 2013, our industry contributed $43 billion to the state’s economy, according to the North Dakota Petroleum Council. However, the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) emissions regulations could reduce the state’s total energy production, preventing additional revenue to North Dakotans.

“We have a long history of responsible operations in North Dakota,” said Erec Isaacson, vice president of ConocoPhillips Rockies Business Unit. “We remain committed to protecting the environment we share, including reducing emissions.”
